Default Throttle Problems

Since I have put mu CAI in, a MAC one, my throttle resoponse has actually dropped. What I mean is that if say I am at the lights and they turn green and I give it some gas, my car wll cough a little almost, hard to describe the sound it makes, then go. It is all coming from the throttle body. Has anyon else with a 95 SN95 had this problem after putting a CAI on or know what this problem is?

Thnaks.

I don't really know whats going on with it, but have you cleaned your TB with cleaner? It could just be real dirty. or you can also check that it is opening properly, take off the CAI and have someone push the pedal and watch to see if the TB is opening all the way.

Ok take the cai back off, check your maf sensor and make sure a spek of dust or dirt didn't land on it, that's the little metal thing inside your mass air meter. After that, check the throttle body to see if it's properly working and check it for any debries blocking the tb. If that's good, you did remember to unistall the ait, or reinstall it into the new tb right? If you did that, then reinstall it, and make sure that ther are absolutly no leaks, and that the seals are tight.
