and realize you cant make adjustments with the plates, they are ONLY used during alignments

Oh, I know. But llike I said I like to know how stuff works. I would hate to be one of those guys with a bunch of money invested into my car and not have a clue about any of it. Those type of people make me sad.

ok, camber caster plates increase the length of the strut allowing it to have more room to be adjusted during an alignment. If you are road racing a stock hieght stang and the track that you are at requires more camber, they can be helpful. As mentioned before, they go on the strut tower
