Default To Fix or Scrap?

I have a serious question Im considering...to fix my wrecked car or to scrap it and save the money to put a down payment on something else.....

i wrecked my front end , i have a 98 v6, heres about all the parts and labor costs to get it back to 'normal'

radiator support-150
radiator-100
condenser-100
fan-80
hood-~250
right side headlight and corner light-75
radiator support brace to inner fender apron?- right and left side- like 180
labor- just to pull out and straighten, put in new radiator support and thats all-500
thats like ~1400 not including air bags or a paint job...

scrap it or fix it
and how much would a wreckin yard give for it

not including airbags and a paintjob... assuming it needs both of these, I think you would need to spend more than you could sell the car for. how much is a 98 v6 worth? no more than 4-5K, right? and you'd need at least 1400 plus paint and airbags... without knowing any specific numbers, it doesn't look to be worth the investment to fix.

the paint is in decent condition....the door is a little rough because theres a palm size spot where I think they used some bondo on a dent without poppin it out and repainted over it and I think it seperated? lol.....but other than that the paints good.....airbags are out yeah but I can always buy those cheap 100$ airbag covers and just use those....but that still puts it like 1600...yeah I think the kbb for MINT condition is like 4,500 and um fair I think is around like 3,000...I looked it up earlier but dont remember, I didnt think it was worth that much tho....but in order to resell Id have to have airbags so im looking like 2200 or so to make the car considered 'good' or even close to excellent.....
The interior is in good condition, cobra bumper, the engine is still good....i only had liability and it was my fault so yeah it does suck....How much do u think i could get either parting out or selling to a junkyard?

You never said how many miles are on it. If it's low miles, and you fix it and drive it yourself for a long time, your cost for the extra miles might be fairly low. But if you plan to sell it anytime soon, even if professionally repaired, I think you'll probably end up in the red. I agree with the others who have said it's better to unload it now for salvage and move on to something else.
