how do i know what size tires to get for the rims that i bought. i bought 18x9 cobra svt black for the front and 18x10.5 for the back. and if anyone would like to reccomend a tire to buy it would greatly be appreciated.

i got ventus tires, from pepboys....but none the less still reallllllyyyyyy good. i loved them, until i burned the tire off the back of it, so i have to buy a new tire. [:@]

but if you wanna stay a little on the cheap side, then go to pepboys, theyve never ripped me off.

 

u can use 285-35's for ur back tires ur front tires can be smaller around 245-40's check out www.tirerack.com i got some sumitumo htrz2 theyre fine...

 

+1^^ I have Sumitumo's and they work just fine. I agree with the size's he recomended also.

Potenza G009's all the way! I got them put on because they were cheap for tires (I think $169.99 a peice) and were a Consumer Best buy. I didn't want to put crappy $69.99 tires on it, so I shelled out about $400 more and haven't had a problem in 2,000 miles! In the rain they grip amazingly. When it's dry I can't peel out... Of course, my other tires I smoked them to get new ones ... Parents refused to buy me new tires , these tires I haven't raced on, peeled out with, etc. etc. ... It's all about how you treat them

And I don't know about the size you should get, All I know is that they fit around my 17's

 

go with 275/35 out front and 305/30 out back.

 

I agree. 275/35 of front looks mean. You Can go as big as 315's out back though. I have sumitomo htr+ and I love them.
