I was driving down a road that was a downhill slope at about 25mph and it was raining and the ground was wet. I have a set of Kelly tires with 10,000 on them. I had to stop abruptly, and I couldnt stop. I didnt slam the brakes, but I put a lot of pressure. Do you think my rotors were wet, or was it my tires???? It scared the chit out of me. What do you guys think?? Right after it happened, I rode the brakes for a little bit then tried stopping fast again, and it only worked a little better, still skidded a little bit. WTF
That happened to me like 10 times with my old wheels/tires. I just got used to driving with them locking up in the rain. After I got my Cobra R's and new tires, I havent locked up once.
