im not woried about puttion the engine together im worried about the time puttin it in the car makin the conversion...mainly elctronics
build a V-6,

one of supersixmotorsports.com 4.2s has something like 400 HP i think

i was lookin on summit for ford block. i came across a 5.4 and it was 2500 bucks but its aluminium...i found a 4.6 on there for 300 bucks and its cast iron...would the weight be that different?

yes. it will need a new hood to clear the intake but it will fit. are you going NA or FI.

i want to do FI i dont know how hard this is going to be...i think im gunna go wit a 4.6 i found the block on summitracing for 300 bucks which is great...its cast iron but ill get alumnium heads...i really want to do this but i just hope it will be all done right

if you want more displacement go with a 5.3 big-bore kit or a 5.0 stroker. i would go with the big-bore. IMO, go with fr500 heads and a paxton supercharger.

but on the other hand, the 5.4 block is 100 lbs lighter. the 4.6 iron is 219 lbs. the 5.4 aluminum is 110 lbs. that is alot of weight off the front end. it would handle better, have better weight transfer, and you could have something that few people have.

or is this a better idea...a stroker kit...ive seen 4.4l strokers... i have no idea what they are and what they do...my friend was telling me if i do the engine swap ill need a new rear, tranny, k member, front suspension, rewiring, fuel pump...would a stroker be easier and still get a ****load of hp
