Default need electrical help

Hey guys, I have a 87 lx with a four cylinder. I cant get the tach to read, what wire runs the tach off the dist. I have looked as best I can and can't find any loose wires or anything else not working. I believe it's a problem between the dist and the computer because it won't increase engine speed when the A/C is turned on or when the alternator causes a load on the engine. I don't think the computer is getting the signal for the engine RPM.

any ideas would help allot.

thanks,

i don't know which wires run to the tach, but it could be the tach its self and the comp is reading that and causin problems. i have seen may tach jump around a few times and cause a miss. maybe check for a crossed or bare wires archin. all i can think of sry.
