Default Yet another exhaust question

Ok..so I have the power robbing single exhaust. I was considering putting on a dual setup, but not sure what to buy or who to have put it on. I stopped at a local Midas where I used to get my other car done, but the guy there who did custom exhausts looked at it and said that it would involve moving the fuel tube and other stuff...I not sure if I trust his opinion to be frank.

Can someone please suggest a good dual setup for a 2004? And maybe someone in the ALbany, NY area that knows what they are doing who can install it?

Thanks.

Moving the fuel tube???? I guess he thinks he's working on a ricebuggy....i'll suggest wut most would suggest, O/R x or h pipe (or catted in they check emmisions in NY) and any muffler u desire. There has been about 1,3290928,324 threads about wut muffler is the best and that choice is purely opinionated... But i think most people will say, u get wut u pay for.. I got dual Flows, and i JUST realized they are aluminized steel[:'(], which means they won't last as long as stainless, but the sound is GREAT while its lastin!!

You don't have to move anything. He doesn't know what he's talking about. A lot of muffler shops sometimes say that about duals on a sixer, but it's not true. The bottom of the car is almost exactly the same as the GT, so there's no reason to have to move anything.

I personally say go to a muffler shop and just buy two mufflers and tips. They can make your own system and just bend the pipes for you. Or get a MAC setup for the GT and have them put it on with straight pipes. I personally don't see the point in H or X pipes on a sixer. What's 1 or 2 HP, anyway?
