im assuming that bringing it in before 9 on a week day is the only way he is able to get it done in one day. what kind of shops have you been asking? it seems like youre asking shops that arent inclined to do that type of work, or if they know how they sure as hell dont want to if they dont have to

 

Ok I did a checked some of the local shops on the better bureu website. This guys shop does not have a satisfactory record. Neither does the first shop I messed with that never showed up to do the work. The second shop that left me hanging twice surprsingly has a satisfactory record.

And Jugador. I was looking for a racing/tuning shop with dynos that did aftermarket mods, that do this kind of stuff. Thats the kind of shop I would prefer do it. Thats what the first guys were that never showed. The second two shops I tried are regular mechanic shops that do normal auto work. They dont specialize in aftermarket mods but can do them. They do the normal work for everyday avarage customers like brakes, tires, suspension, oil tune ups. Those kind of shops are busy. I want a shop that specializes in aftermarket performance work because they have a specific customer base not everyday ppl. They do dont do regular services, mostly modification work so they dont get ordinary people and so they arent as busy.

Basically Im looking for a shop for gear heads (like us). Not a shop for the average joe jane looking to get their brakes and oil done and arent interested in mods. But I cant find a shop like that and so Im having to settle for the latter.
