has anyone ever used a g-tech pro , cause i think i want to get one. if it works good it would be pretty cool, but can they really get accurate hp & torque readings from it?
You'll get accurate times, but the hp and torque will be way off.
meh i beg to differ, a guy i work with has one and is very pleased with it, he said the hp and torque ratings werent all that far off at all and the times were pretty frickin accurate. I heared nothing but good things from him about it and my uncles buddy also has one and he has had nothing but good things to say, so i plan on getting one in the near future as well.
it claims hp & torque will be only + or - 1%. Sounds too good, u cant always believe claims. But if it will give me a fairly accurate reading ill be happy. The times are important too
Well if you go to other forums like street strip, 4.6, and 5.0L you'll hear other wise. I've heard that the hp numbers have been off by as much as around 20 hp. Yet again, I don't have one yet, so I don't know, but I'll probably get one soon.
