Default How true is this ?

1. I heard that intakes improve gas milage.
2. Tune ups and gas filter changing also helps.

What else can improve that besides less weight in the car and all that kind of stuff ?

dont know about intakes, but a dyno tune and clean/functional filters and pumps help fuel mileage. Properly inflated tires help fuel mileage as well as good oil and transmissions fluid.

lol the thing about CAI's is that by improving throttle response (gaining maybe 1-2rwhp) you are saving on gas. You don't need to give as much to get as much. By getting a cold air intake you have the choice, will you be tempted like always and give in to the new air flow or will you drive the same as you did before you had it, in which case you would save on gas.

A tune-up on a stock engine would also help for gas mileage and yes a fuel filter will help improve throttle response also. You can get iridium spark plugs and good wires and that too will help.
