damn man thats rough. did you mess with your plug wires at all of accidently disconnect one? maybe one is touching a header and melted. guess its time to look over everything and see whats goin on. check your plugs and see what color they are. (white indicates lean fuel mix black means too rich) good luck on that

Check everything, also loose vacuum lines can cause a multitude of problems

they added too much oil. 99+'s are known to suck too much oil through the PCV valve with the proper amount of oil in them. add too much and it sucks the excess right into the intake and through the engine. you spark plugs are most likely ruined. change them with a set of autolite 604's or 605's and you should be fine. other good plugs are Delco R44LTS6 and Champion RS12YC or also known as 401's. these are all copper plugs not platinum and will give the best performance. they will need changed every 35,000

i never thought about the plug wires until projectresto83 said some thing about it make shure the fireing order is right

if the wires and the order is right

replace the fuel filter it doesnt cost that much and the samething happened to my friens f150 it had no acceleration so we changed the filter and it ran great
