Default GAS MILAGE

Yello, does anyone know the best Mod or add on to the 3.8 V6 mustang to get an extra 10 or 20 miles per tank or what not. Ive got to drive to school and back every weekend and would like to save some money by getting something to add miles to each tank or gallon of gas. THANK YOUR YOUR TIME.

underdrive pullies would probably give you about 10 more miles per tank. aftermarket exhaust + k&n filter would probably get you another 10 per tank.

now realize, spending $200 - $500 to save $1 - $2 per week is silly.

the easiest way to save on gas is to drive like an old lady. seriously. if you drive 75 on the highway, try 65, you'll see a marked difference.

Yea, i had an 86 4 banger that i blew up the engine on driving to fast, so i drive quite slow now. I spend more time looking in the rear view mirror checkin on speeders than i do lookin in front of me normally. Accelerating fast wastes alot of gas too huh.

Y'know, I was a little bit apprehensive about fuel economy when I bought my Mustang (my dd)...I figured I'd get about the same mpg as the piece o' crap Taurus I was driving before. Yup, I was right, about the same but a little better with the K&N air filter. But you know what, I couldn't give a ****, I have so much fun driving this car, there is no way I'd sacrifice better gas mileage for granny driving. Otherwise I should'a bought a hybrid car. As far as I'm concerned, a Mustang is meant to GO, and what am I to do but comply? ( I sorta half-joked this to the trooper that stopped me yesterday, no **** he told me to get a 5.0 if I was serious and let me off with a warning, said because I'd only had the car for 2 weeks.) Ahhhh, must be karma!!!
Didn't help my jones for a 5.0, though...
