Power door lock/ball joint
Hey all I got a 95 v6 that the left power door lock only locks the vehicle. The right side works just fine, but the left doesnt. Is is the switch that needs to be replaced? Or the whole unit??? Also, my suspension on the left front side is really really noisy...could it be a bad ball joint? There is a seal around the ball joint that is cracked and the right side is just fine....any way to figure out if thats whats making the noise?? The noise is getting worse and worse and sounds really bad!

if the car has a tendency to squeak when you get in and sit down, it's quite possibly the ball joint. it would be wise to get it replaced before your control arm drops like mine did
oh and by the way, if you're not opposed to the "mod it when it breaks" philosophy, may i suggest getting ford racing control arms since they come with new ball joints already installed and it's easier to swap control arms than to replace a ball joint.

my previous post is a link to the control arms im talking about at jegs.com, it's an online parts distributor. they also happen to be a sponsor of our site, but thats not the reason why im recommending them. in retrospect i really wish i got them instead of getting new ball joints only
