Points been made so go ahead and lock it, we've all made out point. Although it's not like somebody won't learn anything from it.

i don't think any points were made, people were just arguing about completely unrelated things.

Yes a point was made, and that's that summet is a decent bang for the buck. The other point, is to be weary of CHEAP products, summet may be a decent bang for the buck, even though I'm still not 100% convinced about how well the hold up for the long run, they're still not too bad, but I don't want people to get the idea that all CHEAP things work out as well on cars. That's the point, if you're on a tight budget, then get summet, if not, then go for the good stuff like Mags, Borla, or Bassini. Oh, I've always said I'm not a big fan of Flowmasters, down low their great, but up top, well.........................so it means little to nothing to me that Summets are better than flows.

my point is how can you even comment on their quality without ever handling them???

you give advice based on what????? you say your not 100% convinced on how they will hold up in the long run based on what experience with them? none at all and you say they are still not too bad. for god sakes you never even touched one to even comment on them

that is my whole point. if you havent had any experience with a product don't comment on it other than. " Be weary of off brand products that are cheaper that market leaders" that's always good advice but that's all that should be commented on if you never touched them

just a random comment to throw in. ive got dual force mufflers and there great. they even went through a hell of a beating when i had my side exhaust on. they hung really low and everytime i would go in or back out of the garage they would hit. i wouldnt call it the best setup ever. now ive got duals w/ dumps and although i love side exit these sound badass. they have a nice smooth deep rumble throught the rpms. a little bit of drone though around 1900 rpms or so.

Well send me one and I'll check it out, because before you posted about them, I never even heard of Summet mufflers.

there's no such thing as summet mufflers. for one, it's spelled summit, for two, they are called force mufflers, for three, they're available at more places than just summit.
