Default Difference between exhaust

I'm reading on threads that people have force mufflers and this type of muffler. Whats the difference between flowmasters (which I have goingon this weekend) or force muffler or exhaust?

What would you prefer though? Are my flowmasters better then the force?

Im also hearing different stories. I have an o/r h pipe with the flows. I know I will hear a difference in the sound, which is what Im going for. BUT as far as performance will I feel anything? Im not expecting a huge gain but I was hoping for a little.

You're not really gonna feel any differance. I say get the flows, there a decent product that will last for a little while. I mean seriously, $30 for a muffler, sure it works, but that cheap price tag really makes me question its structural integrity against rust and in general driving. Remember, you almost always get what you pay for.

i have force mufflers and they work fine. the quality is arguably better than flowcrapsters, they have good welds. of course you will always get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean paying more is smarter or that you're getting a better product

not to mention they could be cheaper because the only research they had to do was copy someone else's product. recovering r&d costs are a BIG part of why mods are so expensive...why else would parts that have been out longer and that they sell more of (5.0 etc) be cheaper?

I work in retail and 95% of the time, the more you pay, the better the product and the customer service, granted that isn't always true because I know of some expensive brands that suck ***** at both quality and service, but like I said, 9.5 times out of 10, you get a better overall product.
