how much psi can a 3.8 handle stock

 

I've heard around 14 or 15. I know someone out there is running like 23 or somewhere around there on stock internals, but I don't know how safe it is. I'd keep it safe and say 14 or 15, though. Although, if I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

I would say 11 PSI is MAX www.tmaturbo.com

 

I believe 11 psi is max for a supercharger, Im pretty sure a turbo can safely go a little bit higher like 14 or so. But turbos do cost quite a bit more than the superchargers do.

 

14 with a good tune, justin at vmp is running 17 thorugh a 100% stock motor but i wouldnt recomend it
