Vacuum hoses!?!?
Well, I popped the hood and started the car. I reved it manually using the throttle body by hand. Upon full throttle, the cable would snap the throttle back shut, just like its supposed to. So, there is no problem with the throttle sticking. The engine sounds fine, but when you crawl under the car, there is a noise coming from around the transmission, sort of a metal on metal noise. Its not the belts, so im assuming its the clutch. There is no sign of slippage, but this noise is coming from the clutch, and only slightly changes when the clutch is engaged or disengaged. Maybe I will try to take a video so you guys can further understand. This worries me alot. THe car only has 45k miles on it.
I pulled the IAC valve today, and cleaned it with carb cleaner. Put it back on, and nothing changed. I noticed a screw with a spring on it inside the IAC. Could adjusting this make any difference? Im so frustrated.
