Okay, this was pricey... but im gonna make it worth it. I picked up a entire headerback exhaust system from blue oval industries, which comes with all hangin hardware, catted X pipe, High flow muffler and all the tubing in between. For a price tag of 600$m i hope its worth it. I still havent recieved it yet, since it is thanksgiving, it will delay the delivery til Wednesday. But you know i will have the system in the followin weekend. And as soon as i get back from my trip to colorado, im goin to the drags. oh and btw, a stock 3.8L w/ K&N filter ran a 17.2 - O.O - thats nooo better than import tuner. but i did beat a Scion TC and a Nissan Altima. so i have a 2W:1L record. Not too bad.

Well 17.2 is pretty bad, even for the 94-98 3.8Ls. 94-98s are capable of ver low 16s, but generally run mid to high 16s. 99-04s are good for high 15s, but generally run low 16s.

But this guy's located in AZ, and there are some fairly high altitudes there that could make his track times slower.

True, but it also depends on where he live, because it could inversly be the heat, but still, that just seems a little low to me for an sn-95 edge, but hey, anything's possible.

Ok to give you a idea, i live in the valley. Just about a hour south of phoenix. As of heat, well, 62 degrees at night, theres no heat. If anything, the cold air made it faster. Also, I hate to break it to ya all... i am the 3rd owner, the previous 2, were girly girls who didnt keep it up. So im still cleaning out crap. The filter was original for like 110K miles, the Power steering pump is dead... but still works...amazingly. Spark plugs were original, electrodes must have jumped off about 25K miles back, only GOD knows when the oil was changed last, and it was 'slide shifting' when i got it, so i replaced the entire tranny for 800$ and im gonna rebuild the old one. It needs new clutches, new PS pump, new rear main seal, TIRES... and lots of things. so right now, if a stock is to run low 16's, then 17 is right for me, cuz im still trying to get it back to OEM grade. Its been neglected. So me and a friend are completely re-doing the entire car. We started the exhaust today, will finish tmrw. Oh yeah, did you account for automatic and the fact my year has 2.73 Differential gears stock? I gotta fix that.
