Default altitude effects?

I have plenty of mods lined up, the usual stuff ofcourse, full exhaust, gears, lowering springs, etc.

Also engine rebuilding
(i.e 4.2L Stroker kit, http://rpm-mustangs.com/cart/product...cat=280&page=1
SSM Stage 2+ powerpak, http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...2PowerPaks.pdf
turbo, http://www.tmaturbo.com/streetkit.htm )

My question comes from the fact that i live at an altitude of 5525 ft. How will this affect the mod effectivness like my cai or a turbo eventually? Would it mean i could use higher boost levels safely or is ther no big difference?

no its cool, check my profile pic.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Will the the thinner air at my altitude have any real effect on anything?

higher altitudes have less air density so with a turbo the air is easier to compress (quicker spool) but you make less boost as compared to what you would at lower elevations all things equal.

or something like that.

Even with a power adder, your power will be limited with thinner air. For the same settings, you will get less power. Of course, you can still run the same boost (as long as you physically can push the turbo/sc that high), it would just mean the turbo/sc is moving faster.

Altitude will have the same effect as higher temperature air (less dense air).
