Default Tuner.

Alright, if the question has been asked before, please link me to it.

I want to get a tuner for my 6cylinder after I get some mods put onto it (like the exhaust and cai). Do you think I should put a tuner into it as well after I get those, wait 'til I get more mods than get the tuner, or not get the tuner at all?

If I should get a tuner, which one? Any specifics? I did fine two on mustangtuning that I liked, but I'm not sure if they'd be good or not.

Keep in mind I'm driving an '02.

go with the SCT x-cal 2. it doesn't really matter when you get it, cause you can always change the settings.

That's actually one of the tuners I was looking at. I don't wanna pay the full price for it though, so hopefully it'll stay on sale for a couple weeks..

i always say this, but

RPM Outlet combo deals

i'd go with option C, with the SCT tuner.

i baught my X-pipe from them for a great price, easy to work with. some people say they suck ***.

only problem i had, is they showed my full credit card # on my receipt for the purchase, makes me wonder how secure their site is.

With that said, I'll stay away from them. I don't want a whole credit card number appearing on anything, especially a receipt. =/ Gracias though. I appreciate it.

I'll probably just fo with the X-cal 2.

Pfft.........that's just one of the "MANY" things RPM has been known to screw up. I'm much more prone to Diablo, but both SCT and Diablo are as good as the other.
