if you have a mac cai, you should already have a k&n, or atleast one of similar construction.

I dont care what anyyy of you people say on here i figure ill let all the newer people know that a cold air intake HARDLYYYY AFFECTSSS HROSEPOWERR!!!!!! if you dont believe me, go buy one!!! The only reason im gettin one is to make my engine look better with lots of chrome and shiny-ness!

i ordered one anyway. im a cheap ***, and id rather have that than the stock box anyday, whether or not they make the same gains. i like the idea of having a cleaner engine bay.

that was number 1 of a small list i have for now, next up is prob the chin spoiler.

very true but you can get a cheap one and then put a k&n on it and make it look good and i really believe it helps on gas mileage at least it does for me

CAI really is nothing for performance/gas mileage... think about it!!! you take off your ugly black plastic tubing, spend 150 dollars, and put on a chrome one which is roughly the same size, just HIDDEN in the fender wall... how is that gonna change anything? So hopefully everyone that has a question about CAI manages to slip into this thread and read the facts... it seems every topic on here says to get a cai for a first mod... Unless youre going for appearence, its pointless!
