Default Launch problem

Ok guys I have a 2004 3.9L V6(Auto) With CIA and Underdrive Pullies.
I am having problems lauching at a DeadStop.
Some of the problem is maybe i am a little bit of a led foot.
I think Trac Control off is better...What do u think ?
Any recommendations on launching?

my 04 3.9 auto does not have the traction control off switch i though that was a gt only thing

but i just put mine down in 1st rev a little til the suspension is loaded and let off the brake and floor it

alot ofpeople say D2D gives you a firm pull in 2nd and is much much better then 12D but i dont see the differance in my car but maybe i am doing it wrong im not sure u can try it 4 ur self

OK. How To Launch an Auto:
1. Make sure Traction Controll is off (it's not just GT's, the premium package has it on sixers).
2. Put the shifter in D.
3. Use your left foot to hold the brake down very hard.
4. Use your right to rev the gas a bit, no higher than 1200 rpm's or so, though.
5. When the light turns green or whatever, let off the brake and smash the throttle.
6. When you reach about 5000 or so rpm's, pull the shifter into 2. You should get a bit of a chirp in the tires.
7. When you reach about 5000 rpm's again, push it back into D.

That's the best way to launch in an auto. The 1-2-D shift does nothing. D2D actually works if done right.

I have traction control as well...best advice, get a shift kit or a tuner. You won't be disapointed.
