How good do gt take offs actually sound? and is it worth getting?

it would be very worth it if you got replacement mufflers to go w/ it. somethin like force mufflers or whatever you want to put on. force would be the cheapest though.

GT takeoffs/FRC-5201 Force Proseries mufflers and stock cats on spencer 88's old car. he doesn't have that car now. i am the one that reccomended that setup to him

Help a newbie. What exactly are GT Take offs? Are they actually exhaust components taken off GTs or a supplier name?

actual exhuast taken off a gt, hence the name gt take offs

How do you know what fits on the 04 V6? Which GT engines and years? Sorry if to simple, just trying to learn and explore my exhaust options.

Anything from the same body style will work. For example, if you have an 04 V6, exhaust from a 99-04 GT will bolt right up, minus the midpipe.

Your chassis already has the correct mounting holes to install a OEM GT takeoff catback. You will need a right-side muffler hanger and two tail pipe hangers, with speednuts.A GT takeoff rear bumper cover with the correct cutouts for the exhaust tips is also strongly recommended in my opinion.
