Default steering wheel

i was wondering if anyone has removed their steering wheel before and if it is hard and how to do it, also if there is a risk of the airbag going off?

I doubt you have the tools to do it. You'll most likely need a t20 safety torx, which is not easy to find. A paint pen to mark the shaft, and a socket big enough to remove the nut holding the wheel on.

I had mine taken care of for relatively cheap. $75 for a used steering column and $80 for installation

most cars have a capacitor that stores a charge to deploy the air bag so disconnecting the battery doesnt necisarilymean it cant go off
