Default xcal help please!!

Hey just got an xcal2 for Christmas. I followed directions and unhooked all fan fuses and fuel pump fuse before the tune. Plug it in and go to custom tunes (which are supposed to be for my 4.0 from Brenspeed) But it keeps telling me wrong vehicle. Any idea? Please help.

They sent you the wrong tuner, send it back and get the right one for your year.

yeah they sent you the wrong tuner and to answer the fuse question... you dont have to but is recomended because the fan will turn on after you have tuned it once and if your battery dies midway of flashing your ecu...... things that are not so good happen

also where did u get the xcal from, was it used... if it was you might be in trouble because an xcal is vin coded to a vehicle once it is used, then you need to return the vehicle to stock in order to use the xcal on another vehicle... so if thats the case then you will need to take it to an xcal dealer

i got my tuner from them. I never had that prob. did you send them the correct comp number. sounds like the sent you the wrong one. and you do not have to unplug the fuses to play with your tuner, its a pain
