Ok how can I determine if it is the idle air control thats not working with me

if you didn't touch it, that's probably not the problem. find out what code it's throwing and see if it's related to the cats or o2 sensors or something

It might have been touched cause the CAI had to be off during the install

if you didn't accidentally unplug the wires or take if off completely, i doubt it's the culprit

xx98 is right. you shouldnt need mils if you have cats
