Ya don't need a shift kit if you're gettin the XCal 2, it does the same thing as the shift kit does and then some. I got mine (Shift Kit) in the mail today and I've already decided I'm sending it back.

It doesn't do "EVERYTHING" a shift kit does, it only aids the stock tranny. A shift kit will do much more for you car than a tuner will, now a shift kit with a tuner would make one mean machine. Don't get rid of the kit, keep it and get yourself a higher stall torque converter and eliminate that auto lag.

Yes they are, they work but redirecting fluid flow and there by increasing shift pressure.

but 4.10s will help much more than the 3.73s...our stangs need help off the line.

actually no i just turned off my traction control, i we went we were right next to each other until 40 or 45 then i started to slightly pull on him. i only won buy a fender but a win is a win.

with that i dont see why everybody believes what they read in a maganize, not all cars are all brand spankin new or manitained properly, every car is different so i dont just base my thoughts on what a piece of papers says
