Default Added HP with cat removal

Has anyone with dual exhaust notice that they got a little more power when they got their cats removed?? I had my duals for about 6 months and just now got all cats removed, and i am almost positive i can feel more of response then before. It could be in my head, but i just wanted to see if anyone else noticed that.

I think your feeling the vibration difference, since removeing the cat on a stock exhaust, espescially withou head work, shouldn't net much of anything.

Thats probably true. Scrming from the 4.0 section said it took off about .2seconds, and he showed some dyno sheets to show the change. I do know that the 4.0's do show some better gains to bolt-ons then our cars, but i was just curious to see what some peoples opinions were.

If you did get any gains, it was an absolute max of like 3 hp. And you can't feel that. It's in your head. A lot of times people say "Oh, my exhaust made my car so much quicker!" No it didn't, you just feel like it did cause it sounds like it did.

I know about the whole "its in your head thing" I really didn't notice any difference when i got my exhaust originally put on, but now there seems to be a tad bit more torque. Who knows. There is a dyno around me, i really should get it dynoed.
