Buy a GT fox body! atleast ull have 8cylinders to start with and you can find all sorts of trick parts for fox bodys and performance mods for a 5.0 are a dime a dozen.if your mommy is giving you that much money for a car consider it a godsend!

VW GTI--> Import
SVT Contour-->Domestic Or Just find another stang, which makes no sense to me. Is she concerned cuz ur just spending money on it. If you get another car, you'll still be doing the same exact thing. Good Luck

*jumps on the Fox bandwagon*

Wait wait...I got a better idea. Why not just build an engine to toss into your car once you're out of college? Can you imagine what you could build in FOUR YEARS?!

^i dont give a **** whether its a stang(even tho i love stangs) as long as its easy and cheap to work on and its a good bang for the buck as far as mods go. has to have alot of aftermarket parts available too.

You just described a 5.0 right there. I would suggest cruising and posting in the 5.0 section to give you a better understanding of how cheap, easy, and available the engine is.

Rook 6 has a great idea also. Would building a motor over time be an option for you?
