Default Steering Help once again

Well I thought my possessed steering wheel was caused because of my balljoints. It wasn't and I thought it was due to my tie rod ends, but it wasn't. I changed my rack and pinion because it needed to be changed. now that seems to be fine but the steering wheel is loose and i was told to change the steering shaft. Is there anyway of just tightening the steering wheel? it moves to each side like 1/2 an inch till it clicks into place. One more thing. Can someone please tell me some good wheel spacers. I need them all around on my car. Just my left front tire needs it but i dont want my whole car to look retarded. Thanks

the loose part of the steering shaft is is from the knuckle, the little cv-joint wearing out. Just get a new one, you already have a new rack, might as well.
