I not very sure about this, but if you live in CA, you cant run LT, because they wont pass emissions...something to think of

Thanks for looking into the long tubes if they work or not. My question with these now is how much harder are they to instsall? I have seen posts saying that the long tubes will require cuting my exhaust pipes to make it fit and possibly other things.
there is a lot more involeved. you will have to get a new pair of cats that are smaller than the stock ones if you want to keep it legal. the stock cats wont fit with long tubes. you will have to get rid off the whole midpipe and cats and everything and have another fabed up for you. that or buy one from mac..but they are really expensive.longtubes should pass emisions as long as you have your cats on. oh and you will need o2 harness extenders and mil eleminators too. you need the mils because the o2 sensors plug into the headers and so if you dont have the mil it will always throw a check engine lightbecause the computer doesnt think you have cats.

Well thanks for all the help. At this time I have to say that the long tubes would be great, but there is no way I can afford the additional work and parts that would be needed. Maybe in the future I can do that but not yet. For now I will just go with the MAC shorites since I have to replace the manifold soonand at least it will be a slight upgradeand not much moreexpensive.
