How the hell do i hang my muffler?!?!?! If i use a metal exhaust hanger, it rattles against the metal... If i dont use a hanger at all, it scrapes the ground... what can i put between the frame and my muffler (that can withstand the heat) that wont let it rattle? This has been goin on for 3 weeks now, rattling, and falling off.. its driving me nuts no matter what i do it fails!!!!

 

use some of the rubber exhaust hanger things that come w/ it stock. the are kinda oval shaped and have a whole for the hood that atathces to the car and one for the muffler.

 

They make muffler hangers that have a heavy duty rubber strap between the clamp and metal hanger.

 

any autoparts store im assuming? can you find me a pic so i know what im lookin for?

 

yea, any autoparts store will have em. there are about a billion differnt kinds so you will have to just go look and see what best fits your setup. just ask one of the guys to see some muffler hangers or ask where they are.
