1st question: why didn't you just buy the straight shot

yea... the straight shot is only like $20-30 more... & what about the heat shield??? ps. on the straight shot does it float freely in the engine bay or bolt to near the fenderwell 1 dose??

 

The sheild should bolt down to the same bolts the fender wall CAI does, the difference being that the fender wall sheild sits against the fender wall where as the straight shot sits in the opposite (engine) side to block the heat.

i'll post sometime tomorrow after i install it i have work so i dont know what time exactly but i'll put some pics up too..

 

its installed! took a while and i little confusing... but with some though its easly installed.. the only thing is when your installing one is make sure you completely take the mass air sensor apart to the little piece.. i didnt relize it came more apart for about 25 mins.. i thought they didnt give me enought pieces... but they did i had a short ride to work on the highway and so far i love it!! the engine sounds louder and you can feel a little difference, i get todrive back home and i'll play a little more and check back sometime with some pics & more comments on it.. Deff a great first mod!!
