yep if i brake too hard then it acts like it wants to die..if i take my time and brake pretty consistently then it wont do it..

im buying the sensor tomorrow if i can find someone that has it in stock because both of the autozone's in town will have to order it and i will install it and let everyone know how i did with it and if it fixed the problem..

well its 1 am and i think i've gotten it...i went outside and took out my aftermarket "CAI" because it was bothering me that it didnt fit correctly and put my stock pieces back on...

well for kicks and giggles i thought, why not go ahead and clean out the IAC valve to see if it does anything good for me (couldnt hurt right?) well i unbolt it and spray the carb cleaner in it very well and made sure it was doused (sp?) and then let it dry out...placed it back on the car and held it to 2,000 rpms for about 10-15 seconds....let the throttle go and it began to idle just like it used to...im going to take it out on the road tomorrow just to make sure the problem is allieved...good luck guys!

i recently had that problem too and it turns out it was my dam intake plate against the fenderwell one of the bolts that hold it down came loose and it was vibrating and i was so mad and i could not figure it out i thought it was my transmission cause it only did it when i was in gear........ lol

Ha that so crazy, I was messing with the wrong damn thing, I think I was messing with the auxhilary fuel line or something, I dont I didnt hut it, I cut the rubber insoulin a little bit, I tried putting a little one of those zip tie things, hopefully that will work for now, but on another note, I realized what I was supposed to mess with, the only problem I had was taking it off cuz it's a little rusted on the screw that connects to the actualy egr valve tube, I gave up....I need hulk powers....[&o]

That almost dying when braking sound more like the iac. It's supposed to keep the rpms up a little and come down slowly so it won't die.
