yeah i thought i had mine fixed with the new sensor but it still does it...im gonna try cleaning out the IAC a little better and then cleaning my MAF sensor and if that dont work i will buy a new IAC valve...

edit: have you ever thought about adjusting your base idle higher with the screw? and just unplugging you IAC? im tempted to do that today and see how it works out

I'm all for fixing my own car as long as I know for sure what's wrong (& have the right tools) but to just start buying parts in hopes of getting it right can cost you as lot more in the end. I just seen a Firebird that was not running. She replaced the computer, the cap, the rotor, the plugs and wires and the maf. The problem was the pick up in the dist. She would have saved a lot of money if she had it looked at in the first place. Save some money and take it in, if they put a part on and it doesn't fix it you don't have to pay for it, they do.

well i just took my car to autozone to see if it was throwin any kind of code and it wasnt...the fella there said it may be the battery cables may be corroding because of how small they are and he said him and his father deal with ford cars that have the same problem and they just put a larger size of cable on it so it doesnt corrode as fast...idk it seems like it is working ok now but everynow and again it will dip at 500rpm or lower...only seems like it does it everytime i turn the wheel though....im lost
