ok check this. since i just installed a new fuel pump do you think that there could be like some air in the lines and that maybe it blew the fuse because of it not sending any fuel right away? i doubt it but im just throwing it out there. and is so maybe i should just go buy a couple of fuses and go through them to see if that is it. good idea or bad?

No there's not air in the lines, and you do not have a ground problem. You have a short to ground. It has nothing to do with the fuel pump ground. Take the car to a shop that knows what they're doing, because obviously you nor no one else here knows what to do. I'm not trying to offend anyone by saying that, but my goodness I'm telling you what is wrong with the freaking car, but no one will listen.

Edit: By the way, it's a 20A fuse, not a 30A.

your joking right?
NO! THE WIRE THAT CARRIES THE CURRENT TO THE PUMP IS THE HOT WIRE! MAKE SURE THE INSULATION IS NOT WORN SOMEWHERE ON THIS WIRE AND THE BARE WIRE INSIDE IS NOT TOUCHING SOME METAL. sorry for yelling.
