Default quick question

i know there is an "official UDP" thread but i wanted to start my own bc i like posting at the top of a page instead of posting last at the 2nd page..i'd, i'm weird like that...

anyways, i'm powering a 12" Type R with 1200 watts and my lights are dimming on every deep bass note and my rpm's are dropping to about 700 instead of the usual 1000...if i get UDP (24%) will these help out in freeing up the power in a way in which it will be noticeable??

Default RE: quick question

don't get a cheap power cap. my lights dim whenever my bass hits too and i don't have UDs. i unbridged my amp from 1400 to 700 and it still does it. i've got a 1.8 powercap in the back and that didn't help. it was fine back when i only had the 500 in there. my friend's 02 cavalier has a damn 1800 watt sub + amp combo going with no cap and he never has a problem.[:@]
