just stick with autolite platinums. i personally wouldn't use the splitfires in mine, but to each his own.

first question. how many miles are on the car??? if it's less than 60,000 then don't even worry about changing the plugs as all you are doing is wasting money. if it isn't misfireing then you don't need to change the plugs and wires. the 3.8 has a waste spark design which fires on the powerstroke and exhaust stroke which makes it very sensitive to plug failure. you will know when you need to change the plugs as it will run like it only has 4 or 5 cylinders.

if you want to change them anyways then just get the cheapest plugs you can get which would be Autolite 605's or 604's which are copper and excellent for blowers or turbo's. you don't need to spend alot on plugs and wires on stock engines. stock replacement wires are fine and copper plugs are fine too like the 604's delco R44LTS6's are a good plug too as are Champion RS12YC's. forget splitfire plugs. they don't make the engine go bang any better than regular copper plugs. coppers should be changed every 30,000 miles Platinum plugs autolite AP 764 or APP 764 only need changed every 80,000+ miles

never buy Bosch Platinums. they are complete junk. the center electrode wears out too fast on them

Split fires are the worst plugs ever made. I bought a set when they first came out & 3 out of the 8 were no good!!! Auto Lites or Bosch would be good.
