this new guy at my work wants to race soon and his car is the epitome of rice. you know fat spoiler, lowered (w/o suspention kit, just springs), ugly body kit that flares everywhere with a CF hood all on a 4 bangin prelude. but all he has is an intake and a fart can and he says he can take me. before i start talking **** what do you guys think? haha

 

i would hope so....any mods beside the "CAI"

You've got to be careful when dealing with Preludes. My friend had a 97 2.2L v-tec 5spd with full exhaust, CAI, and it was tuned. When his car hit v-tec it would get up and go. I think it might be a drivers race but he still might have a slight edge on you especially in the upper rpm's

 

Is your car a manual or automatic. What year Prelude is it? If it has the 2.2 liter H22 motor you're in for an *** whoopin[&:]

With that H23 depending on your transmission it could be a fairly close race. There is no way to tell what the outcome is unless we know what year and motor he has.

Looked upa 95 prelude 0-60 in 6.7 1/4 in 15.1
That is barely faster than an 05 v6 (by online sources)
but that doesnt mean that are his times..

 

what other way do you lower your car besides springs? i mean i know how but you are rippin' on that guy for lowering his car with springs and that is how half or more than half of the ppl on this forum lower thier stangs, but ya i hate rice.
