ha i'll win right?
All '97+ Preludes all have the H22 vtec engine. Years before that had a 140hp 2.2 Base, 160 2.3 SI and the 190hp H22. He may be a ricer but his car will be prettyhard to beat for youunless his driving sucks as much as his taste.

THat isn't necessarily a definate sign. Remember, he's a Honda driver with a fart can and body kit. He might have Vtec and TypeR decals everywhere, but the actual engine will only produce like 900hp, lol.

Check for the V-TEC next time you see him, I saw a black one today outside my work. It should have V-TEC written on the side.

well...if you have an auto. you're in for an interesting trip. When all i had was a CAI i raced my buddy with an RSX Type S and he started off with just over one length on me, then by the time we got to the next light, he had two lenghts on me. However, I didnt do a brake stand and he does have a newer model, 06. The autos have a real low first gear, like 2.95 for our years. And the shifts without a tune/shift kit are pretty sloppy and slow. If you do a D2D and brake stand for the launch, you might be able to take him if he has V-tec. If he doesnt have V-tec, he's prolly got the 90hp or at most, 110hp. good luck
