you know when you buy em they are already painted. thats what the hts coating is. they paint them at mac for you.

i didnt know that i was just tellin him how to paint em, if u want them black tho or other color just do what we suggested and u could paint them if not i dont see why you would have to, just use em out of the box

so buying them new from MAC which i plan on doing i won't have to worry about painting them....

U can just get the ceramic coating on them. Buy em like that, and u dont have to worry about high temp paint, and rusting and whatnot.

that does make since, mac cheap a$$ sh*t. i dont like that company as i have said before but they are the only ones who make em. they sent me the wrong thing anyway. they sent me the ones w/ the air injection ports and my 00 doesnt have that. i was just gonna plug them but as most of you know i had to sell them. it might be a good idea to paint them yourself w/ a few coats. it will probably hold up better.

Yea a lot ofheaders come painted to look good and so they dont scratch while theyre handeling them or shipping them, it burns off once the car heats up.

yea, they will work on any of em but if you dont have air injection you will have to plug them. either the shop could do it probably for free by welding something on or you could buy 2 threaded caps to just screw on. its not a big thing but i thought they would be made FOR my year but i guess they arent. damn mac.
