No, each tuner marries itself to your ecu, and your ecu only, only way to use it on more than one car is to restore the stock tune to your ecu. After that it unlocks the tuner so you can use it on another car.

Now you can run diagnostics and fix problems on other cars, you just can't tune them.

actually you can get it unlocked then use it on another car but it runs about 150 from sct. i think diablo is about the same. the only problem with this is then the car you tuned originally cannot be changed and the factory tune will be lost.

Different tuners unlock or not, differently. My Super chip will interchange with the vehicle type its made for,
You buy one for a 3.8 mustang and then you can install it and when you get rid of car ,you can reflash your computer to stock and sell the tuner to someone else that has a 3.8 mustang.

A sct will have to be reprogrammed to the next vehicles vin. But if you like the program it can be reprogrammed to your next car. After you put your the vehicles program back to stock. The sct will only hold one vehicles Vin at a time. And some SCT wont work with different makes. Like a mustangs wont work with a camaros, etc.

They are all pretty limited as far as vehicle type.
