Default Quick Exhast Question

To put on a magnaflow GT cat back system i need to buy and adapter like the H pipe listed here http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/XPipe.htm? I'm finally getting around to putting the exhast in and need to know so i don't buy the wrong stuff. I own a 2001 V6 vert.

Thanks

yea or you can have a shop fab up a midpipe. shouldnt be too expensive and it will all be welded on instead of clamped

Just in case...you can leave the pipes divorced...they do not have to be joined with an H-pipe or an X-pipe or anything like that...save yourself some money too. But...an H-pipe makes for a cleaner sound.

what do divorced pipes sound like? do they have a deep tone? deeper than an h-pipe?

if anyone has a sound clip or video of an exhaust with divorced pipes that would be awesome..
