Getting a mustang next week
i have learned from experience that the longer you wait the better off you are, like everyone else is saying dont just jump on the first thing you see take your time and look at more then one.

I don't regret my yellow but I do regret the auto and the two missing cylinders. Now I've got my heart set on a creampuff jet black 2003 GT. It's soooooo nice.
Just to make it clear... Don't jump on the first one you see! Get a feel for the market and see what going prices are. If you see a great deal at first, make sure it's really a great deal before you go jumping on it! When I was looking for my car, same price range, same car, I almost settled for a 96 that had been in a minor accident, but after a couple more days wait, I found my current beauty! Make sure to check the lines on the car for even spacing, usually a tell-tale sign of an accident, and also check for any obviously new parts. For the price you can get a good car with decent miles on it, just be patient!
