I know most of you are gonna laugh and turn this thread into a whorefest but i got a question for ya, i was going to replace my pcv valve on the passenger side valve cover as my haynes book says. but when i pulled the line there was no pcv valve on there. moved to my driver side valve cover and the pcv valve was on that side. the question to you is does it matter which side the valve is on? thanks to everyone who stays on topic here

It's on the drivers side. I did the same thing 2 days ago. I'm going to eventually remove both of those hoses and use breathers instead.

Yes it matters. I have a purolator in mine, it came with 3 adapters, since it needs an elbow for my car. Got it at Advanced Auto Parts.

Why use breathers? They leak oil all down your valve covers. Why not just put in an oil separator instead? Your engine will stay clean and it will still pass smog.
