i got a 2004 mustang and i was wondering how to remove the lower door hinge, all i see is two bolts, i removed them, but the hinge still dosent come off.

 

it could be welded a little on there too...I dont know though.

 

why are you removing it? they may tack it on in a few spots but i dont think it would be an easy fit to get a grinder in there, especially if you havent taken the door off. cant you just remove the door pins and bushings to get the door off or is that not what you want to do?

 

im putting on lambo door hinges, i removed the door and fender, but the lower hinge on the car wont budge for some reason

 

have you tried anything to pry it off? see if you can fit something underneath all the edges of it to see if there are any welds. if there are, you're probably going to have to grind them off. i don't know how it's set up. it may just be stuck on by the paint holding it together.

 

i tried that also, there are no welds, i think there is a hiden bolt behind the door stop mech, so im going to check it out again

 

i figured it out, there's a reversed bolt behind the kick wall, 13mm
