RE: HELP***Error codes P0171 & P0174
*** CONCLUSION ***
After all is said and done, finally sucess, no codes.....
When I disconnected the CAI and MAF I just ran my finger around the inside of theCAI pipe, there was
a slight layer of dust, cleaning the "wires" inside the MAF was simlpe enough, alot of people suggest
carb clean, some contact cleaner, others alcohol on a cotton swab, what I chose to use was
ether, the stuff is an awesome solvent, dries rapidly, and leaves no residue, (not to mention readily
available because I had it handy to start the snowblower).
In conclusion, I will be cleaning the entire CAI when I clean and re-oil the filter element, as well
as spraying the MAF sensor wires clean at the same time.
