What will cause a rough start up and a 12-1500 rpm idle?? but the idle is normal after a lap around the block..Also if I apply the break and take it off its like the engine shutters when in park but i cant notice it on the road ive never noticed or seen anything like this before [&:]

 

What do you mean by a rough start up? When mine is cold and I start it it does idle high for a short time too but it drops with in a minute or so, I think they all do.

 

like its almost like it stuggles to start up I dont really know how to explain it just a pretty rough start up and the rpms jumping when the brake is applied and released....but in park...

 

may be something to do with the brake booster

the brake booster works off of the vaccume of the enging and that may be why when u hit the break it is like that but iv never heard of that ever happening

may be something as easy as a vaccume line or as bad as you need a totaly new booster

 

I agree with johnt2k7, it sounds like a vacume leak. Harbor frieght has a vacume tester on sale right really cheap. If there isn't one close by you can get it on line.
