No Spark
Do you hear the starter? ( the car turn over but not start) You can take a sparkplug wire off to see if it sparks when someone turns your car over, if not check the distributor, It could be your coil.
I replaced what would be the distributor ( the other end of the plug wires - can you tell I'm an amature mechanic?) on the 3.8. I have taken the plug out, turned the starter and there was no spark. As I mentioned I changed the engine from a 94 to a 97. Can the computer cause this? The battery was out for about two weeks while I swapped out the engine.

I took the distributor from the 94 engine and put it on the 97. The 94 was running (barely) when I took it out so I would assume that it was good. I live in a rural area and an Auto Zone is more than 120 miles away.
